Through this training, you will learn to:
- Understand the unique experiences of racialized & immigrant women & children fleeing abuse and/or homelessness
- Explore strategies for creating inclusive and empowering spaces
- Utilize religious, cultural & pre-migration considerations in providing support
- Apply trauma-informed care for diverse populations
This workshop is ideal for front-line workers, community and social service organizations, shelters and those interested in supporting marginalized communities, including racialized women & children fleeing abuse & homelessness.
A certificate will be provided upon completion.
